JOYFUL FUSION WEDDING AT THE OLD COUNCIL HOUSE, BRISTOL

Imagine your wedding day unfolding in a place where history meets romance, creating an enchanting atmosphere. That's the magic of The Old Council House in Bristol – a sophisticated, timeless venue with neo-Classical charm. I had the pleasure of photographing the love story of Umanga & Ben here as they celebrated their fusion wedding in the extraordinary Lantern Room.

HELLO, I am Paola  of Paola De Paola Photography, a documentary wedding photographer, I had the privilege of photographing the magic of Umanga & Ben's wedding at the extraordinary Lantern Room at the elegant Old Council House in Bristol.

THE OLD COUNCIL HOUSE, WHERE HISTORY MEETS ROMANCE

Nestled in the heart of Bristol, this listed historic gem has a beautiful staircase, outstanding decor, and a location that's a stroll from Bristol Temple Meads train station. Surrounded by luxury hotels and restaurants, it sets the stage for a chic yet relaxed celebration.

As a recommended wedding supplier at this venue, I enjoyed photographing Umanga & Ben's fusion wedding in the stunning Lantern Room.

Its Regency decor, elegant lighting, and portraits of royals such as King George II and Queen Caroline overseeing the ceremony provide an extraordinary backdrop for your special day.

JOYFUL FUSION OF TWO CULTURES IN BRISTOL

Umanga & Ben's love story is a testament to the perfect modern, non-traditional, colourful celebration of an international union. Umanga, originally from Sri Lanka and based in Dubai, chose Bristol – where she and Ben met as university students – to celebrate their love. Their wedding, a beautiful blend of two cultures, was heartwarming and extraordinary.

CONFETTI PHOTOGRAPHS AT THE OLD COUNCIL HOUSE

After tying the knot, Umanga & Ben stepped outside into a cascade of colourful confetti. The Old Council House's iconic building provided the perfect stage for this magical moment, with guests joyfully showering the newlyweds with biodegradable, dry petals.

Some of my most loved confetti pictures were taken outside this historic venue in the city centre of beautiful Bristol.

Rest assured, I'll handle the organization, ensuring an unforgettable confetti experience.

A few minutes away, Bristol Grand Hotel offers a beautiful backdrop for the couple's pictures. I was lucky to find the fantastic Floral Underpass murals by HazardOne, one of England's most celebrated female graffiti artists, to use as a backdrop to some stunning wedding couple photos.
