Christmas engagement photoshoot in Borough Market

Today I will share the beautiful pictures of this very festive pre-wedding photoshoot. The just-engaged couple, Kim and Dan, were keen to have the photographs taken at Borough Market. Their absolutely favourite place in the capital, as they both used to work nearby a few years ago. In fact, is here where the couple met and where their love story started. They've been together for over six years and are happy to return to such a familiar welcoming place.

Borough Market is definitely London's most famous and popular market. Exciting, diverse, eclectic, with a very babbling atmosphere.

The day is very sunny and bright but extremely cold. I am fortunate to be able to photograph this lovely couple in such an exciting place.

The market can be so busy at the weekend, and an engagement shoot would probably be quite challenging, so it is lovely that we can do it during the week.

We met around 11am and started looking around, tasting some delicious food, from paella and spicy Jamaican chutney to delightful cheese. This is the place to enjoy the best artisan food in the capital.

Borough Market has been operating since the 11 century. With over a hundred stalls, it's the most exciting place to savour freshly cooked food. The uplifting energy of this place is so unique. Everything feels wonderfully inspiring, from the colourful umbrellas to the cold press olive oil stall.

A beautiful day without a doubt. The gorgeous couple is so photogenic that this engagement shoot is a great success, full of colours and positive energy.

I'm really looking forward to photograph their wedding now. Borough Market, I will definitely be back!
